結成以来、Maths ClassやSelfish Cunt、We Are The Physicsといった海外バンドとの共演を次々と成功させ、国内外で高い評価を得ているPLASTICZOOMS。音楽をアート活動の一環として捉えており、その精神は計算されたライヴパフォーマンスや、モードとゴスを融合したようなファッションに表れている。２００９年３月にリリースされたデビュー作「UNDER///BLACK」は、７インチレコードのみのリリース、B面にはカナダのエレクトロパンクデュオDandi Windによるリミックスを収録と、まさに異端児としての彼らを証明し、インディーズシーンにて話題沸騰中。２００９年夏に待望のアルバムリリース予定。全ての表現に独自のアートが貫かれている、世界的に貴重なバンドである。
